Simply Vedic was founded in Naperville, IL on November 20th, 2006. It began with inspiration from local families to serve the community with a quest to understand the demanding social needs and provide needed support. As a small group of 10 families, we organized free events in Parks, distributed free food, and provided needed social interaction, and support in our houses. In December 2008, we formally got incorporated and applied for nonprofit status.  We begin our nonprofit status in February 2009 and subsequently received federal and state recognition with 501 © (3) status. Although we do not have any formal membership requirement or fees, we do have support of over 60 families who serves as volunteers for our noble cause. Simple living is in relation to maintenance of the body, and high thinking is in relation to the aim of one's intellectual pursuits.

We are committed to continuously promoting programs for the betterment of our community and people. We believe we are making a difference.

The tenets of the Vedic way are based on non- denominational principles prescribed in the Vedas – ancient texts originating in India. The essence of the Vedic principles applied to modern day life is ‘simple living and high thinking’. Simply Vedic is based on the eternal Vedic principles of compassion, generosity, ahimsa (non-Violence), and oneness with nature. These principles translate into our programs to support the needy, strengthen families, and provide access to health, education, and wholesome food.

Simply Vedic invites you to take part in improving the lives of potentially vulnerable neighbors. Several human and cultural services programs run by Simply Vedic help children, seniors, and the community at large. You can change the story of a neighbor in need by volunteering or donating to a specific program.

Simply Vedic is a registered non profit organization with 501 (C) (3) status. To fund our programs, We need your support. All your contributions are tax deductible.

“Acts of sacrifice, charity and penance are not to be given up; they must be performed. Indeed, sacrifice, charity and penance purify even the great souls.”
